Use this if you want to enable data sharing on your OpenAI Platform account and check whether you are eligible for free daily usage.

This should take you directly to:
Settings → Data Controls → Sharing
You may need to log into your OpenAI Platform account first.
Step 1: Open Data Controls
Click the link above and go to your OpenAI Platform dashboard.
You should land on the sharing settings page under:
Settings → Data Controls → Sharing
Step 2: Enable Data Sharing
Turn on the sharing options shown on that page.
You may be able to enable sharing for:
- All projects in your organization
- Only specific projects
Choose the option that fits how you use your OpenAI account.
Step 3: Check Eligibility
After enabling sharing, confirmation should happen immediately.
Look for a message on the same page that says:
“You’re eligible for free daily usage.”
If you see that message, your account should be eligible.
Quick note
This setting is inside the OpenAI Platform dashboard, not the regular ChatGPT app.
So make sure you are using the Platform account where you run API projects.
